The school organized an educational excursion to Cocoa House in Ibadan as part of our efforts to enhance students’ understanding of Nigeria’s economic history and the role of agriculture in the country. Cocoa House, an iconic building in Ibadan, is known for its historical significance in the cocoa industry, which has played a crucial role in the Nigerian economy.
Some of the Objectives of the Excursion are:
- To educate students about the history of Cocoa House and its importance in Nigeria’s economic development.
- To provide students with insights into the cocoa industry, from cultivation to processing and export.
- To expose students to the architectural and cultural aspects of Cocoa House and its significance in the city of Ibadan.
The excursion to Cocoa House was both educational and enlightening. Students gained valuable insights into the history and significance of the cocoa industry in Nigeria.
