As part of the college’s commitment to guiding and preparing our students for the next phase of their academic journey, the school organized a visit for finalists to the University of Ibadan (UI). This initiative aimed to familiarize the students with the university environment, academic facilities, and support services, helping them make informed decisions about their future educational endeavors.

Objectives:

1. To provide finalists with a firsthand experience of university life at the University of Ibadan.
2. To familiarize students with the academic programs, facilities, and resources available at the university.
3. To offer an opportunity for interaction with university staff and students, allowing finalists to ask questions and gain insights into university expectations.

The day began with a comprehensive tour of the University of Ibadan campus, led by university guides.
Students explored various academic departments, lecture halls, libraries, laboratories, and recreational facilities.

Finalists received information about admission requirements, curriculum structure, and potential career paths. This firsthand experience allowed them to envision their daily life on campus.

A Q&A session was organized, providing finalists with the chance to interact with university staff, including academic advisors, administrators, and support services personnel.
Students received valuable insights into university life, academic expectations, and available support systems.

A panel of current university students shared their experiences, challenges, and tips for academic success with the finalists.
This informal interaction helped ease anxieties and provided a realistic perspective on university life.

The visit to the University of Ibadan proved to be a valuable and enlightening experience for our finalists. It not only provided them with practical information about the university but also allowed them to envision their academic future in a supportive and dynamic environment. The students expressed enthusiasm and appreciation for the opportunity to explore the university and interact with its community.
